We’re Excited to Announce…

Oh my goodness, thank you so much for sharing in our joy with us! We have been so excited to tell you all and are so glad to finally announce these 4 sweet miracles. Four, yes FOUR! We continue to say that and can still hardly wrap our minds around it! The first couple weeks Josh and I didn’t even know what to say to each other, but now as these sweet miracles are 14 weeks along, it is starting to sink in. Over the past year God has lead us through an amazing journey! Through it God has taught us and grown us in so many ways! We knew early on that infertility may be something we were faced with and we soon began going to a specialist. We knew God’s timing would be perfect and we fully trusted His plans, but that didn’t mean it was always easy. We tried several medications for several months until recently we found out God had blessed us with the wonderful gift of being pregnant! Not only has He blessed us with one miracle, but He has blessed us with four sweet and beautiful miracles, quadruplets!! We could not be more excited, sometimes scared, definitely out of control, and constantly blown away by God’s goodness all at the same time! We know without a doubt that this is no mistake and that God has a perfect plan! We know our journey is still continuing and we cannot wait to see God work in mighty ways!

So a quick little summary of what all this looks like for our family. Our due date is technically January 25, 2018. However, with so many sweet babies in there we would be happy to make it to late November or early December. A huge answer to prayer has been finding our wonderful doctors at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. We have felt so much peace about being there and we already feel well cared for. We will deliver there and the level 3 NICU will be a wonderful place for the babies as well. With this being such a high risk pregnancy, my doctor has already ordered that I not be working at this time. Again God’s timing was perfect as the summer break allowed me to rest and now I will not be able to go back to work in the school district this fall. As we are into the second trimester now I am starting to feel a little bit better, but these babies sure don’t let me forget about them with my constant nausea. So as for now, God continues to teach us about surrendering every day, He reminds us of His faithfulness, and we continue to pray, waiting and knowing He has each baby and every detail in His hands. We greatly appreciate your prayers, support, and love at this time as we trust God’s goodness with these 4 sweet little ones! We love you all!
