Grow Babies Grow!

25 weeks (and 3 days) and counting!!! Can I just tell you how good God is?!? Wow, we continue to be in awe of His miracles every day! Our eyes are filled with tears of joy each morning as Josh updates our hospital whiteboard with how many weeks and days they continue to grow in my belly! It has definitely still been a journey with ups and downs, but we continue to fix our eyes on God and know He has everything in His hands!
Tomorrow will officially be 5 weeks that we have been in the hospital! Yahoo! To many this may sound boring or unfortunate, but we are beyond thankful for each day and I will gladly stay as long as we can even if that means laying in bed all day with the bed tilted upside down.
A huge blessing this past week was to see these babies’ growth! We were truly blown away to find out that Baby girl B was packing on the weight and was now breaking the 1 lb mark. This is an absolute answer to prayer as she gained about 6 oz in 2 weeks!! Baby girl A is still our biggest at 1 lb 7oz, Baby boy C is measuring 1lb 5oz and Baby girl D is 1 lb 3oz. We know many of you have been lifting up these sweet little ones in your prayers, especially for their weight gain and we cannot thank you enough!
Throughout this whole journey there have been lots of unknowns, uncertainties, and hard conversations. About a week before being in the hospital, Proverbs 31:25 was a huge encouragement to me as I was trying not to worry about the future. This past week I was reminded again of this verse.

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”

Oh how I desire to laugh without fear of the future! Some days are easier than others, but what rest and freedom I have found without fearing the future. One of the biggest things Josh and I have realized during this time is all we can do is focus on what God is doing right now one day at a time. God has definitely given us the strength we never knew we could have and He has blessed me with an amazing husband that literally keeps me laughing no matter the circumstance!
During this time, we are beyond humbled and overwhelmed by the outpour of prayers! This week we would appreciate continued prayers for more time and growth for these four precious babies in their mama’s belly, as each day is very critical at this time. Also, please pray for contractions to stay at a minimum, my cervix to stay strong, and for extra growth for baby B. Your prayers, words of encouragement, and love mean more than you know! Thanks so much again for joining us on this journey!
Sending lots of love,
Josh, Kaitlin and these 4 little ones
